Henrike Lehnguth is a doctoral student in the Department of American studies and the Coordinator for Graduate Student Programs at the Center for Teaching Excellence. She earned an equivalent of a B.A. at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and a Master’s degree in American studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include representations of the Middle East in literature, film, and newspaper discourse in the United States and Germany. She has taught several courses in the American studies department.
