May-June Training Workshops for New
Course Reserves System
Beginning with Summer 2008, all
University of Maryland Course Reserves
at College Park will be provided through a new system. The new
Course
Reserves system will be accessible through the University of
Maryland
ELMS/Blackboard course management system. Access to course
materials
through the UM Libraries catalog will no longer be available.
In order to prepare for the change, the UM Libraries will be
offering
training workshops for Faculty and library staff, especially those
who
work at service desks, during the month of May and early June.
Training
workshops are scheduled for the following dates and times. There
will
be additional training workshops scheduled in August/September
- Thursday, May 1, 2008; Time: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Monday, May 5, 2008; Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Thursday, May 8, 2008; Time: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Tuesday, May 13, 2008; Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Thursday, May 29, 2008; Time: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Monday, June 2, 2008; Time: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
All of the training workshops will be held in McKeldin Library,
MCK6101 - Lab
